Of course they do. They also trick you into believing you're finding things for yourself when you're actually being manipulated.

I can't keep track of every person and whatever grudge they hold against me. Sometimes I have to ask who they are. BLF people are cryptic enough as it is.

jamflex will update whatever the forget they want on 07, even if nobody wants the update

no poll, no choice. jamflex is like "here, let me turn that into eoc for you..."

they let us choose if we want to loving press enter to log in, but they won't let us choose if we want additional rules added to the game. what the forget.
HEY LET ME JUST- OOPS I REPORTED YOU. hey let me just loving trade you, OOPS THE LIST IS TOO loving LONG, YOU'RE OFF THE SCREEN. GOOD. GREAT.

I've reported lots of ppl for scamming. not anything else. I don't know who is a bot or who isn't. I'm not gonna report someone on the basis of "well his name is F0O2434 and he's bald, so like... I mean I guess he's a bot... although that Ragnar42 could also be a bot..."
I don't loving know who bots. that's your job, jamflex. I'm not gonna report afkers.

Yeah, we've already seen two forced updates in 2007 that we did not vote on.

We did NOT vote to disable gambling.
We did NOT vote for a right click report option.

I didn't expect Jagex to keep their promise, but I also didn't expect them to break it within a month.

And to people saying "Only scammers don't want a right click report button" - No, I don't want a right click report button for two reasons. One, I keep clicking it by accident when I mean to trade or follow people, and Two, it needlessly clutters up the right click menu when you're in a crowded area.

i wish they would do something like that today, they haven't added a new, sizable area in ages.
This is a problem with current RS because everything in the game has grown, yet the world stays the same size; every NPC and area looks so special and detailed, yet they're all within ten metres of eachother.

it works in OSRS because the world is built using a certain amount of objects, almost never creating new buildings or NPCs for new areas; e.g.; in OSRS you can look like an NPC, and NPCs look like you. Most NPCs wear clothing that you could wear, or at least re-coloured clothing that you could wear. It makes you feel more like a part of the world. Buildings and terrain are also built using a few different objects, making the theme more consistant and apparent.

In modern RS, every NPC and thing has its own model, making you and your items look out of place. it's also more notable how close things are to eachother. Englarging trees while keeping forests the same size makes forests look smaller, and towns have completely separate styles. Keeping almost every activity besides minigames and quests to three or four cities doesn't help either, and since you can run constantly, teleports become useless (not to mention lodestones making magic useless in the first place) and the world shrinks even more.
The world needs to be upscaled and enlarged to make it work.

I'm not sure if this is supposed to happen

I use the old RuneScape.exe (in OP) to play old school. I get a couple script errors at the start, but they don't seem to affect anything. Once I'm in the game, everything works perfectly.

I don't like 07scapes economy atm. Everything is too expensive making it impossible to do things.
Lol'd. I think it's fun with a fresh economy. Will be fun to see how it develops.

the nice thing about rune is that you dont need to be high skilled or rich. there are tons of fun things to still do lol.
even most modern mmo's dont have this may people conversating everywhere in every situation. and this game dosnt even require you to hang with other people.
all of this

How to make some money: get 20 thieving, steal silk and sell back to silk merchant later.

"The Silk Merchant will remember thieves for 30 minutes to one hour, but time spent while logged out does not count.

Stealing silk is sometimes considered the best way to train thieving for low levels. Stolen silk can be sold by first offering him 120 gp for one piece of silk, and then offering 60."

That's 1680 gp per inv.

I don't know how profitable this is in eoc.
