For you forgetsticks who equate regulations to socialism. You're loving dumb.not funny
Socialism is the idea that the rich should fund the poor, and it will enable them to get rich.
In reality socialism enables people not to have any reason to improve and in many cases, it will encourage people to step down from more intensive jobs to less intensive jobs. Companies will initiate capital flight and leave upon being "appropriated for the people". And the economy will implode.
Socialism removes the incentive to improve.
Regulations can vary from not using a certain type of ingredient in a food factory, eliminating factors that can lead to monopolies IE, buying all your local business, to even pro small business restrictions.
I don't think having local business regulations are bad for the economy. So long as these regulations make sure that the playing field is fair, not biased against one side or another.
Making it so Titans like Walmart couldn't just swim through fines to get cheaper prices would be a good regulation. Forcing Walmarts to sell items at certain prices under the threat of being taken over would be a bad regulation, as would allowing Walmarts free reign.
