Yep.

First game I ever played was probably this kickass Thomas the Tank Engine game that had this controlling mechanism that you hooked on to your keyboard, and all the buttons on top triggered random keys but it felt like real train driving anyway.

I played something like that but it was from Tonka Trucks I think.

You could drive around in a truck and do random stuff.
