Why does the hair look like hair?
Make them a solid color, a lighter shade of black so you can tell them apart from the eyes and mouth.

Also, I'm glad I stroke a impression in add-on presentation.

Easy, in milkshape. Simply make a bullet model facing toward or along the pink axis.

It's easy to do, and requires little to no skill.
