Then make us a smaller vehicle spawn, not 8x8. Something small like 2x2. :D

Make it content.  There would be less restriction on placement.
No JVS.
What makes you think that I'm going to do that?
I've stated I don't want this JVS.

I'm on an iPod right now, but this looks cool. I still like my way better, though. A brick-built one where you click the handle to open it, then click inside and it asks you to save/load items. Do you have more ideas in mind? Container mod.
Edit: Truce, my chest does EXACTLY that.

There are some things that you can't do with event based chests.
Like 15 max items, and quick withdraws in the order deposited.

Plus, I find this much better than a event based one because it looks nice, and it's faster to spawn this then make some events.

And yes, I have other containers in mind.
Ones that hold more or less, but can only hold certain items.
Ones that require keys, etc.

He means having a single chest able to store different sets of items for different clients, which is entirely possible.
Oh sure it's possible trucy.
Here at SimpleWell, we do things simple and well.

Considering that you can do all of this with events already, I thought it would be more fun to do it this way for many reasons.
This is more interactive in many ways, ways that i can't describe.

What would be cool, is if you can add items to it remotely using events.
Like a bank to chest transfer for RPGs.

Can you make one that weapon storage is client sided? It would be usefull for banks and rpg things...
If that was possible, Let's just say i wouldn't be here right now.

I had lots of fun with this :3

I'm glad i didn't decide to have Doom implement the "ownership" of certain Chests.
That way, you can steal items from people's homes :D

Oblivion anyone? :DDD

Bots are easier for me, and I know i can work with them. (Model wise)

You were asking if you left, in which I said, "The items stored save to the chest".

It all depends on what happens when someone leaves.

As I recall vehicles respawn when a player leaves, so I think that would get rid of it's items.
Vehicles re-spawn if the owner of the vehicle leaves.

Ah.
I think this should be a JVS brick. Or some type of better prop.
Lol, No JVS bullstuff.

Add-Ons / Container Mod: Chest [PH]
« on: November 15, 2009, 10:13:19 PM »
Container Mod Version 1.1

Container Mod allows any player to access the the chest’s contents. A chest can hold any inventory item like a gun or a hammer. To store items, simply throw something at it. To withdraw a item, Click the chest with bare hands. Each item in it’s inventory will be cycled. You’ll get the hang of it. It’s built to be a fast system.
