1. Create your model, size it appropriately.
2. Create a new "yourhat.cs" in this ITEMS folder.
3. Edit your CS to look something like this.
-----------------------------------------------------
AddHAT("YourHat","YourhatImage",0);
datablock ShapeBaseImageData(YourhatImage)
{
shapeFile = "./SHAPES/Yourhat.dts";
emap = true;
mountPoint = $HeadSlot;
offset = "0 0.02 0.3";
eyeOffset = "0 0 0.4";
rotation = eulerToMatrix("0 0 0");
scale = "0.1 0.1 0.1";
doColorShift = false;
colorShiftColor = "0.392 0.196 0.0 1.000";
};
-----------------------------------------------------
4. Put your DTS model into the ITEMS/SHAPES folder.
5. Please note. DO NOT edit any of the default hat mod scripts.
Your hat.cs will auto execute.

Save as .map. File > Export to DIF. make sure the map and the dif are in the same folder. Drag the .map file to map2dif.exe in c:/program files/torque/torque constructor. If the DIF file size changes, it worked. Now copy textures+dif to map folder in add-ons.Thank you! <3

You all have some weird mental deficiency where you expect every grouping of three capital letters to be an abbreviation. It is not an abbreviation.It was.
