Funny thing is, I turned vsync off to get a better framerate but this didn't happen with it on.

« on: February 03, 2009, 05:55:46 PM »Mine's 8500GT, a bit weaker, yet I don't usually run CSS at such a resolution, though I can play nicely in de_dust2 on 1280x1024. If reducing your resolution doesn't help, then it's most probably your CPU or something.
Like I said, I play fine as well, mostly high settings, 60+ fps. But it's Long A that drops me to 20, and it only happens occasionally. de_dust is the problem because of the thing opposite of the terrorist side tunnel entrance.
