Games / FPS dropping on dust2 and other maps

On de_dust2 in CSS, my fps drops from 75 to around 20 on de_dust2, around long A.

On de_dust, when entering tunnel from near T spawn looking at the gate thing across from the entrance, I get 12. This never happened before, wtf is going on?

Oh, forgot:

1280x960, all settings high except vsync and HDR, running nVidia 8600 GT.

It's meh, like a combo of soldier front and the other CS ripoffs. I'm uninstalling it; it's boring and dull-looking and the highest sentitivity isn't sensitive enough. I'll stick with CSS, kthxbai.
