I watched the Potemayo specials after I finished the series...except watching those specials felt like watching the series so the series-finishing emptiness was doubled.

Shotguns in CS were always powerful, it's just that the focus on ranged combat makes them sort of the "black sheep" guns (mostly situational). The M3 in 1.6 and Source is pretty fun to use (and hilarious in say, the vents on Assault), and the XM1014 was always bullstuff and included in the "auto" part of most "no awp/auto" type servers.
