ALSO more rumors are propogating that i'm going to "kill my girlfriend" and that i've gone insane
will tell you these are Not True!
the original guy who leaked it back in 2018 was this loving nutcase from Croatia that wanted to kill his internet ex girlfriend, so he had someone he knew who had source engine license access give the two codebases to him
and he flew from Croatia to michigan where his ex lived to kill her and then kill himself by overdosing on pills, was found with a meat cleaver and tylenol lmao

it trickled to a group of 5, slowly spread around the source modding community, and the leaker that posted it the other night received it from one of the people who it was spread to
