Modification Help / Item Transparency

My model in-game spawns with it's transparent pieces being transparent. But if someone picks it up and the item re spawns the textures become solid.

I'm sure there's a simple solution for this, I would appreciate any help.

Modification Help / One-use Items

I'm trying to make some one-use items that have the temporary effects of changing a player in terms of speed, visibility, size, and health.

I have rough idea of how I could execute most of these ideas:
-Speed would work if I could change the player-type to "Quake".
-Visibility, or invisibility, could be done by hiding nodes.
-Size, I really don't know. I guess I could look at the Super Mushroom.
-Health, by that I mean raising the players max health. This could also be done with a Player-type swap, but Id need to include it with the item.

I do not know how or if you can change a player-type through code.
I also have no idea how to make these effects temporary. An RTB pref could control the time the effect can take place.

I know a Spray Can FX update/edits have about as good of a chance as a small child has with a speeding train, but I may as well throw this idea out there..

A (or two) spray can FX that adds a tint overlay to a brick, making their color seem darker or lighter.
I guess it could work as an item like the fill can, but if this could be pulled off, it would triple colorset output.

The Riot Shield protects your player from damage full frontal.

Is there a way to make the area of defense smaller and perhaps more defined?

Two events. IfWalking and IfRunning.

IfRunning would activate if the player is moving normally at the time the event is triggered, IfWalking would activate if the player is holding the "C" key to walk, at the time the event is triggered. If the player isn't moving, nothing would happen.

I can only see this working with the OnPlayertoutch event though.

A simple edit of setDamageflash or setWhiteout.

Damage flash sets your whole screen red as if your getting hurt, whiteout does the same only white. I think there should be a Blackout that sets your screen black.

It would be useful for cut-scenes and transitions.

Suggestions & Requests / Bot Event: Loot Drops

An event that regulates the percent chance a bot can drop an item when killed.
OnBotKilled > DropItem (Select Item) - [% Chance of of dropping]
Or something along those lines.

Now, I tried to do this with variables and Bot Events till I was blue in the face, but I could not manage to find a way to have a chance drop. Each time, somewhere along the line, it would lose the killer giving the item to the owner of the brick.

Modification Help / Photoshop Graphical Error

It seems when I create something through Photoshop and attempt to insert it into Blockland, odd white outlines appear around random edges to my image. Mostly unnoticeable, it still can be seen in dark areas, or with a black background. I find this aggravating and unprofessional.

Is there anything I can do to my image to eliminate the white edge..thing?
Mind you, I use PS3...

Help / RTB Mod updating

Ive seen addons on RTB undergo 'versions' where they get upgraded/fixed as they progress. I have just recently made an upgrade to one of my own mods that I would like to update on RTB but can find no option or help to do so.

How do I update my addons submitted to RTB?
Do I have to re-enter my mod again?
Or does the type of add-on regulate if I can even do this to begin with?

Its really starting to annoy me how music / songs get exponentially louder as you get closer to its source. It gets to the point to be classified as "ear rape" which is horrible...

I used to have some type of audio glitch where all my audio was static. Sounds did not get louder when I got closer, nor did they fade as I retreated. I actually preferred that, except for the 'no fading' part...

There really needs to be an Audio Cap: a max volume that any bit of audio can reach but cannot pass. Cause, really. Who wants there player death sound to wake up the neighbors every time you die while crouching?

Help / Escape Menue not Showing

For some reason, my 'Esc' key does NOTHING. It wont let me bring up the menu, abort loading, or anything.

The first thing I thought it was, was the keyboard itself, so i replaced it with a new one I had around just in case the first one stuff the bed. But the same problem is happening. The Escape key does nothing anymore.
Is it some new Blockland thing?

An old mod made by Truce. Download is no longer working RTB or otherwise. Adds a favorites bar to your event page so you can favorite event lines to be easily brought up again later.. this would be useful.

I would love a link to this if anyone has it lying around their addons folder anywhere...

Modification Help / Milkshape Animation

I got an animation all done and ready to go. But for some reason the animation shows up in the 'Materials' tab. When I save and export with it like this, the animation does not play as it should.
Ive heard that with the name "Ambient", the animation should play auto.

I just don't see why an animation would end up in Materials. Is that normal? Should I apply the 'material' to my model for the animation to run properly?

Or is it because I need a line of code that specifies the animation, which I doubt...
