but if you regularly transfer large folders of files you may want to get 7zip

I mean, I do. But I'm using forms of version control.
My current repo is like 58g total across three projects. But I also dont have to deal with any of it manually.

There is a plethora of much better compression algorithms nowadays than zip. Some container formats also typically include more advanced features like better cryptography options, chunking/splitting archives, and options for data integrity.

That's interesting, I had no idea.
However, I'm not sure how useful these might be outside of a business setting.

Yes, thats true. And I dont quite like Lady Gaga as a stage name either.
However, this is April 1st and the thread title sounds like a joke when the artist name is Nipsey Hussle.

That being said, Ive looked the man up and this is real. So that does suck.
