I am leaning towards a steam-only solution.  In my current design idea, any currently un-attached Blockland IDs could be attached to any steam account, including multiple blids to one steam account. 

As long as you haven't connected your main blid to an alt steam account, you would be fine.  Transferring blids from one steam account to another would not be supported because that would facilitate theft, and we'd be right back to where we started.   

Glad I didn't jump the gun on this then. As long as Ill be able to attach multiple accounts to my Steam account, everything should be fine.

Im more in a situation where I would need to make another Steam account JUST to play my original ID since Ive already attached an alt key to my main account.
And I really don't like that idea

Im more impressed that they legit had a way to kill a large portion of the player base but instead stuff their pants when they got their hands on a glass mod and blew their cover immediately.

Just because I'm nervous about it: You won't be going for a 100% steam only solution, right?
Once the problem is resolved, key authentication will be turned back on for non-steam users?

Yeah okay, you're right. They did replace the textures with a blank texture and recolor it via code. I honestly thought that was not possible without the base model and judging by how other users complained about 'datablock usage', thought separate texture swaps was the reason.

Quartz made it as optimally as possible. (at least to my knowledge)

And now that Im looking at it, you could easily add more hats to it. As long as you can open DTS files to replace the textures to be blank.
If need be, I can re-export all my hair hats without textures for this.

Im assuming Quartz just replaced the textures for each color, making each one it's own model eating datablocks.
If any serious effort is planned in being put into this, I still have the original models and can set them up so they work better for recoloring.

Added Nezuko, Hitman, Villager, Jack Frost, and Saitama to the Single Hats section.
Added Item_Antlers to the Non-Hatmod Hats section.
