A while ago Badspot n' co released SpeedKart as a gamemode as well as the resources needed to make tracks of your own! Unfortunately there have been only a few custom-made tracks made since then. Now, DaffyTitanic was posting about making a SpeedKart track in this thread here, and it turns out the issue was that he couldn't get the starting zone to work. I've seen some people complain about this before, so I went and got the save and managed to make it even easier to use than it was before.

Done. Turns out the main problem is that it has to be left as unnamed because the save file does not have an assigned name? I dunno. This one works just fine as far as I can tell but I saved over the original with a description. Try it out!

Also, can I put this in General Discussion? There aren't enough Speedkart tracks. Remember to check the original dev topic for how to make the track fully functional!

I always use enter/return both as the chat confirm key and building key.

I always always right click to get bricks to use immediately. I hardly ever use the cart now but I do when I need to be using a lot of the same kinds of bricks or summat. Sometimes I hardly realize I'm actually slowing myself down by looking for the brick I want every time, then right-clicking it. Gotta use the cart more.

Fill can and duplorcator are decent enough. Default wand to the max. Fill printer would be more useful if it actually worked on mod-ter.

Orb-shifting fixer is great too. Get-hex is always good.

It's great! I'm not sure if anything I bring up about it would be legitimate concern or personal preference. However, there are still some minor things with it;

Fire is not put out by water

An icon is reported as missing unless you have Tier+Tactical 1

You can easily event this into a bot hole by default.

OnbotDeath>Minigame>All>chatMessage>[XYZ has been killed by %1!]

However it would be nice if bots did have actual client-kill functionality. Even so I don't think it's gonna happen any time soon.

What's keeping you from doing it? It'd be really simple if you just make it look like Route Kbrown town. The coast-and-buggy section (can't remember the name) and inner City 17 could also be fair maps.

EDIT: Highway 17, that's what it was! Yeah if you wanna make a kart track that's one section you could base it on.

Ah yes. Only hoping for release with that one! I do wonder though, do players have to man all of the guns? If so, that's wonderful.

Dreadnought should start out with two powerfists, rather like a furioso. Makes things easier. I find the prevalence of spehs muhren vehicles disturbing. Needs more of everything else, but since it'd take ages to do it'll never get done, anyways.

Also, needs the finest tank in the galaxy.
