Modification Help / GUI Question
« on: January 25, 2012, 10:39:51 PM »
Would it be possible to display a VCE Variable value in a GUI? I might be just thinking about it the wrong way but it doesn't seem like it would possible or indeed a good idea, considering you can open a keybound GUI on any server. I suppose that leads me to another question, is it possible to make it so people can download your GUI and yet only be able to use it on your own server. (NOT saying that they couldn't go change the code but just asking in general.)

Modification Help / Variables in Chat Commands
« on: January 22, 2012, 02:03:35 AM »
Here is my code.

Code: [Select]
function serverCmdbla(%client)
{
messageclient(%client,'',"Bla: ");
}

In its current state all it does is when you type /bla it sends     Bla:     as a chat message to your client.
I need to know what I would do to make it if you had 2 bla variables it would say Bla: 2.
Basically the <var:cl:bla> thing only for coding.
Hope you can understand what I want, Thanks.

Modification Help / Editing MaxHealth through Client
« on: October 02, 2011, 08:49:57 PM »
So what I want to do is change the Max Health of the player. The way my script is supposed to work is when the player gets 1000 of the variable Exp he will gain 10 health bringing it to 110. Now I want to know what I need to edit in my code for it to work.

I'm no pro coder when it comes to messing with VCE through code so here's my failed attempt.
Code: [Select]
function VCE_ifVariable(Exp : 1000)
{
maxDamage = 110;
};

Now what am I doing wrong.

I will be plain and simple. You know how in a game, like World of Warcraft, how when you walk into an area you hear music playing in the backround, but other poeple can't hear it. We need something like that for Blockland Rp's, through events. It'll be just like a backround music player only difference is that it will be controlled by events. I know its possible to make this if its possible to make a backround music player.

So please help!

Suggestions & Requests / Special Event Request
« on: January 08, 2010, 09:41:48 PM »
This is an event that has been wanted on RP servers and maybe even DM servers and ect. Its an event that would be something like this.

Say there is a brick on the ground, and you need to walk on it to get to some other area of the build, and say the server is an rp server. I need an event like Onplayertouch-->Player(Or client or self not excatly sure which would effect the player)-->PlayMusic-->(Music that you want here)

So it goes like this, the player steps over the brick, it turns music on. Not like a music brick that has a sound radius and the sound gets quieter as you go away. This is like the BG Music Mod only in an event. You can hear it everywhere and on the same sound, like the BG Music Mod only no one else can hear the music your listening too except if they have stepped on a brick that does this. So its pertty much the same as the BG Music Mod only you use it through events.

If any eventers or scripters read my post please consider it, I'm sure ton of other people would love to have this as well.

Music / Diablo I & II Sountracks
« on: December 29, 2009, 01:12:43 AM »
Diablo I & II Sountracks

Even though it's just I & II their is acually four sountrack pack things, if you are familiar with the Diablo series then you most likely know, The Hellfire Diablo sountrack, Diablo I sountrack, Diablo II sountrack, Diablo II LOD ( Lords of Destruction ) sountrack.

Important Note!!!
The song/tracks in these folders are full song's and are for use for listening on the Backround Music Mod, or you could make them into loops and then it would be alright. Some of the song/tracks are short enough that they already could be counted as loops and will be fine, now here are the links.

Diablo Hellfire Music

The first Diablo game, I think anyway. :P
