This is true, they really sold the name out for every single toy and item possible.  It's like the Simpson's merchandising, except there's a much smaller fanbase and a much smaller and younger target audience.

However, Cars 1 was a great movie and I enjoyed it.  I'm hoping they won't ruin it with the second.

the second one is about mater being a spy..... it's ruined bro.

IMO, I think they should have left it at the first one. It really spoke to me. But you know what, Disney is being disney again and trying to squeeze as much money as possible out of it

they milked cars 1 in merch even since BEFORE the movie came out. this was to be expected.
