Religion class helps with English because you can just be like "This story alludes to genesis" and you are almost never wrong.

1.There is no legal protection against firing from their job someone based on their loveuality on the federal level, only some (I'm pretty sure the minority) states have state-level protection
2.Arizona recently fought a bill that would have made it legal for businesses to refuse service solely on the grounds of someone's loveuality
1. I was pretty sure the 14th amendment covered this, with the whole all citizens are to be treated equally. I could be wrong on this one.
2. Honestly, I wish that would have passed. I wouldn't doubt for a second that would go all the way to the supreme court and they would have to make a ruling whether that is ok or not. Similar to Brown v. Board of Education.
