General Discussion / What would the events for an rpg fishing, farming, or potion system look like?

I am working on 2 rpg's right now, a post apocolyptic fps rpg, and a midieval rpg. I would like to know what the events for a fishing, farming, and potion system would look like. Also, how would an Exp system be evented? I'm new to RPG building ;)

I would like a playertype, and when it dies, it turns into a ragdoll. Is it possible with Blockland's Physics system? (Wanted to make a COD style DM)

Games / Got COD 2 and 3 yesterday, and Modern warfare 2 today

I got call of duty 2 and 3 yesterday. I began to play campaign on both games, and I'm very impressed with the graphics and gameplay. My friends and I played split screen, and we were hooked. I got mw2 today, and it is soo good! Any tips?

Gallery / My 1st UI attempt

This is my first attempt at a custom UI piece. It goes in the Blockland-Data-Particles folder. If it already isn't named Pain.png, name it that. It replaces the "OUCH!" and replaces it with a crappily made squirt of blood. Like I said, it's a first try. Did I mention it has transparency?

Help / Annoying port forwarding problem (Mac)

Okay, so I have a linksys wireless router, and a mac. I have found the DNS addresses and all that crap, but I can't seem to find where I can forward my ports. Airport utility is not the answer, because I do not have an airport router. Please help me.

I just finished a map based on Nicht Der Untoten from Cod World at War, and it is pretty cool. The zombies are not cool, however, when they jump up to the third floor and climb through a window. What do you think of my Nicht Der Untoten idea?

I just got the Orange Box for christmas for my new 360. It has Half Life 2, HL2 episode 1, HL2 episode 2, Team Fortress 2, and Portal. I have already played Portal and Half Life 2. What do you think of these games?

Help / Key not working?

I am playing Blockland off of my 2009 macbook and when I enter my key, it says "Authenticating..." and then it says "Invalid Key". Why is this happening to me? I know the key is right because I pasted it directly from the key recovery email.  for anyone who can help.

Does anyone play Cube 2? I recently got it and it is the most intense game ever! :)
I give it
