This question is really just a conflict between old social norms and new-ish development,  the internet. There's nothing that says you have to personally see someone to be friends with them, it's just there was no other way in the past. I'm not discouraging face to face interaction, but sure, I definitely believe friends can come from the internet.

I like Medium-Well, I prefer to have my meat cooked through, it's not charred, but it's not raw either. I also season my steaks after I grill them, and I pre-marinade them for a few days, so they taste pretty good.

Actually this I kind of disagree with. I believe the war needs to end, yada yada, but by "alternative energy" you're more than likely talking about solar energy or some other kind of "clean" energy. At this current point in time, it's completely worthless. I don't mean to offend anyone with solar panels on their house, but they don't earn their keep. Converting a nation this dependent on oil to "alternative energy" would take a WHOLE LOT of money and we wouldn't be able to maintain the efficiency of oil until many developments have been made in these alternative energy fields.

I mean to gradually get off of oil and into something cleaner/more renewable. I don't care what it is, fighting wars over energy just shouldn't happen

Honestly, the two-party system sucks balls because there are better candidates out there than the two imbeciles we got this time around. The sad things really are;
A. These candidates have 0 chance because they can't even appear in debates
B. People vote without knowing jack about the election, they make their decision in the booth
