Bump

The animation is quite easy and I am pleased with my results. I made a sidescroller game where you are this guy and you throw tomahawks at flying dinosaurs. only chesse20 could think of something more handicapped.

Screenshot of the interface. The programming is drag and drop, just like adding the objects.

I have a pic of my gun (I modeled it, so it's horrible) and scoping in with my gun. I just noticed you can see my gun in the corner of the scope pic :\
I will fix that.

I had to use this application called Alice in one of my programming classes at school. I downloaded it and messed around with it a bit today. I made a basic engine for an FPS game, with collision detection and such.

Anyways, a little about the engine.
The Alice engine comes pre-loaded with models once you download. It also comes with a programming system that's kind of like eventing in BL and is very easy. I got the hang of it in a few minutes, and I am really bad with these things. Among the programming functions are having an object move to another object, changing colors, changing variables, responding to changing variables, and tons more.

The link to download the program is here: http://www.alice.org/

You should buy it if you really want to, or save up more to get an alienware desktop (A lot better), your choice though :[
I need to be able to transport it between my mom's and dad's houses, though.

I have saved up $1,536.20 to this date, and I am thinking of buying an Alienware M11X gaming laptop. The laptop can run Crysis at high settings, but the FPS drops sometimes. The M11X can run Steam games like L4D2 and HL2 on high without a problem. Should I get it? (I want a laptop because I would need to transport it between my mom's and dad's houses)
