Recently I've noticed that some web pages are going all funky. Not using most of the fancy setups they have and whatnot. I really have no clue what could be causing this, I haven't installed any new addons or programs. And it just started a few days ago, I couldn't even get on youtube it was acting up so bad.

Suggestions & Requests / No walking/jetting playertype.

I had an idea of a type of obstacle course. What I need is a playertype that can't walk or jet, and only jump. I saw marcem's no move playertype but that couldn't jump so it's not a help.

I'm not sure what else it could be useful for, though. And I have no knowledge on how to do it.

-Rules-
Your moving requirements are through your major guild. Meaning if you can move, according to your sub guild, only if your major guild allows moving.

Stealing is punishable by death, if caught, and, if done with excessive amounts, kick/bannable. Kicking/banning would only occur if you abuse the ability to steal.

City rulers may banish someone from the city. If you are banished from a city you may be killed/stolen from/raided if you're within the city area.

A city's boundaries are ~40 blocks from their walls.

Raiding without cause, war, revenge of raid, murder, is not allowed. If two cities/guild are warring you may raid, but leaders of the guilds must give proper announcements and agreement of war.

You are not required to join guilds. You may join a sub guild, and not be in a major guild, or join a major guild and not be in a sub guild. Or no guild at all, doesn't matter.

Anyone make create a town.
But it must have a certain amount of people to take the step up from a hermitage/camp.
1-2 People = Hermitage/camp
3-4 People = Village
5-6 People = Town
7+ People = City

I was playing spiral knights this morning when my dad came home... with a new computer :D

It's definitely better than my old one, other than the graphics card and PSU. But I'm going to put the ones I have before into this to make it better.

Help / My brother can't host a server

I've been trying to get my brother to be able to host on his computer while I play H&H. I've forwarded the ports to what I had for my server, didn't work, and for the minecraft ports, didn't work. I changed the ports in advanced config to no help. I've tried everything I could think of.

I got his console.

Haven & Hearth is a MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Roleplaying Game) set in a fictional world loosely inspired by Slavic and Germanic myth and legend. The game sets itself apart from other games in the genre in its aim to provide players with an interactive, affectable and mutable game world, which can be permanently and fundamentally changed and affected through actions undertaken by the players. Our fundamental goal with Haven & Hearth is to create a game in which player choices have permanent and/or lasting effects and, thus, providing said players with a meaningful and fun gaming experience.

Players start the game surrounded by a vast and somewhat unforgiving wilderness, with only the most basic tools of survival at their disposal. The use of fire is a thematic focal point of the game's mythos, and an early and important task will be the simple lighting of one. As the first hearth fires disperse the darkness of the surrounding wilderness, more pressing questions will present themselves to the players: Who are they? Where are they? And, most importantly, where are they going? From this point on, players will have to blaze trails of their own into the unknown, the wilderness and the future, and explore and affect the world of Haven & Hearth using only their own best judgment and a chipped stone axe. Trust us, the stone axe is the stuff.

As players progress, they will be able to acquire new skills and abilities, allowing them to perform a variety of tasks—such as the claiming of land, the construction of buildings and the cultivation of crops—each step forward making the basic task of survival somewhat easier. Haven & Hearth is a game that is so simple, that almost anyone can play it. But the depth to simplicity is what makes it great. When you build your first house, you are granted things you couldn't imagine, when you chop a tree the tree doesn't regenerate, all that's left is a log or two, and a stump, which can be molded into new things. Turn the stump into a post to hold the torches that light your night. Make the logs that you felled from the tree into a house to keep you safe from the forces of nature. Build a fence to keep the shoethirsty animals out.

Now that you have secured your resources, you encounter your first player. Turns out he is a new player like yourself and you join teams. Now you build multiple houses and encounter many new players and your camp grows into a small village. Your life is so perfect that you forget the dangers.

One of your villagers turns on you and murders your whole village and claims it as his own! What do you do? Wait for a respawn? Nope. Death is permanent. All of the things you worked for just slipped out of your hand.

What now? You search around and join a great city and train yourself up. You find out you are near your old village. Once you build yourself stronger you go back to the village to find...? Your murderer is dead! Now someone else is in control of your resources. Your heart rests until a rival village places the last straw on the camel's back and war erupts. Many are lost, fewer are saved.

You just became a part of history in Haven & Hearth.

Drama / Darth Block - You're so abusive! Omg that's unfair! Stop it!

Normal day, hosting a server with my brother. Nothing much, a little bit of complaining but nothing too bad. Until Darth Block comes.

I have never heard so much whining, complaining, and much more in one day. Within 5 minutes he was complaining how "it's unfair that you have good guns because you earned them". I don't know why I didn't ban him from how annoying he was. He didn't type anything but complaints.

For example: Some of the players were using bricks to get out of the map. I didn't care, apparently darth block calls it cheating and screams at me and them saying they're cheating.

Another example: My brother would occasionally teleport around, into his tunnels, etc. Not like teleporting into the enemy's base and killing everyone. He apparently calls this admin abuse. Sure my brother force killed him a couple times, but everything that happened was "OMG CHEATING! OMG UNFAIR! OMG ADMIN ABUSE!" Even before he force killed him.

He also was complaining how I gave my brother the ability to give himself points. He said it was cheating and admin abuse. Even though it's my server and I have the right to. He decided that he could make decisions on what could and couldn't happen in my server.

And was also complaining how we had a better fort than his team. As you will see in the IRC. It's funny because originally I built walls for both teams, I just didn't want to since there was still a few people on green (Green vs. Orange).

After probably a couple of hours of pure complaining. My brother bans him for the reason: "Loser". I laughed, along with everyone, and I mean everyone, in the server. I mostly laughed because I was literally about to ban him because I had had enough of him.

And then he IRC's me. And this is what happens.



What's especially funny is how he says he's going to get Badspot or Ephi to do something. Like they're going to do something because I am hosting a server the way I want to. When I'm really doing nothing wrong.

I would've taken pictures of the ingame chat but there would have been at least 60 pictures of him complaining on and on and on.

Off Topic / Sord needs to upgrade his computer.

It's that time again, I need help from you guys on getting the right parts for this old computer. What I'm in need of now it 2 different things

1. More RAM, I tried downloading some but only the 1MB would work, and that doesn't help much.
2. A new CPU.

I currently have 1.7GB of DDR RAM.
And I have an AMD Athlon 3500+ 2.2gh/z single core processor. It's a 939 pin and that's all I really know. If you need any more details to help out post what and I'll see if I can find it, if not I'll ask how to find it :s
