It wasn't active for 7 years. Having an account doesn't validate your argument, playing the loving game does. He played for a year when he was like 6, I doubt he even did a quest in the first two months of having the account, besides the handicap quests like sheep shearer and cook's assistant.

Why are you still going on with this. Why can't you just accept the fact that I've played for 8 years? You're even putting words into my mouth. Seriously, just let it go and quit being a pretentious douchebag.

I'll be able to come on early as of Today and Tuesday because of Hurricane Sandy. Also, I just noticed this when the normals won the game because of Self Delete and no boss was there.

That's a common slayer glitch. It actually fixes itself if someone is loading and joins in, but usually no one gives them that much time.

since does not mean in. If you smoked in '04, then stopped smoking for around 7 years, then began smoking again, you wouldn't say "i've been smoking since '04'.

Holy fasd you're really going on about the fact I said "I've played for 8 years", even though I didn't say "I've been playing for 8 years", which is COMPLETELY different? Why are you even arguing about this.

And besides, there's a massive difference from playing a video game and giving yourself lung cancer, anyways.

and i'm not acting like you're supposed to do quests and train levels, i mean playing for 8+ years without doing 90% of the quests would be like playing skyrim for 8 months without doing the main quest. That coupled with the fact that most of the content would be barred from you makes it even dumber.

Uhhhh no played every now and then in the years. So yes, I have played this game since 04. I never said "I've been playing for 8 years straight" I said

If you really doubt me I have a yoyo sitting in my bank right now, and multiple people have seen it.

what the hell have you been doing for 8 years without doing any quests. seriously, i finished all the free quests by like level 55 as well as most of the easier, non bullstuff member's quests.

Played for a couple years, didn't log on for probably two/3 years after that and only occasionally logged on for some holiday events. I really only started playing again a year ago, but then stopped for a couple months due to my brother getting banned since we were questing and training together.

edit: and why are you suddenly acting like everyone is supposed to go hardcore dedicated WINQUESTSTRAINLEVELS when you just said you were supposed to play for fun how you wanted to?

i call bullstuff on the since '04, level 58 stuff, if you're playing any of the game at all you would have to be higher than that just to survive most quests.

No, really. I didn't do most of the higher quests. I've played this game since I was 7/8, and that I know for a fact.

Back when people played the loving game for a little thing called FUN we used to enjoy things like random events, that used to add some flair to the game. Now, I can see that it's an inconvenience for you soulless robots who just want to see a number go up after a solid ten hours of grinding so you can get your super sword, I mean really, god forbid you do anything, you know, exciting.

This is the reason runescape's going down the stuffter, they are getting raped by investors and the players are too complacent to do anything about it. I said something and I got banned, right along with all the other people who were ballsy enough to say something. Their entire system is forgeted up, everyone from player mods, to forum mods, to Jmods.

Uhhhhh why do you instantly assume every person who doesn't like randoms is a skiller/whatever. I've played runescape since 04, until probably a year ago my guy was still combat level 58. The only reason I play this game is for fun, and I'm sure most of the others here do too. Have you ever heard of raising your skill levels to do quests or whatever else we want to do? Excuse me for having an opinion on something I play and enjoy. Next time don't jump to conclusions.

Those bastards, random events were what made the game feel dangerous back before they pussified them all, now they are removing something that's been loved by fans for years for no reason.

Random events were terrible and I, for one, am glad they're gone.
