Like it's not even fun to rag on Tony at this point. He has such low self esteem that he doesn't even fight back. The only way to garner a reaction out of him is if you say that No Mans Sky is a stuffty game.
this is so true ahaha

The only two instances where I can think this isn't true is for people making integrated systems and for the fringe crowd. Maybe for system admins, but even then...
Literally most of the tech industry runs linux, the only place where no one runs it is because they have proprietary obligations like the apps you talked about (Unity, Visual Studio, AutoCAD and other industry tools)

Don't act like there's no one runs it when it has such a large market share.

It is good for loads of things, I admit OPs list has laughable reasons, but it is used.

mcjob confirmed microsoft shill

I like linux because I actually use it for work/school/everything

Can't use my programming tools.
now if this is the biggest loving horsestuff i've heard.

I go to school as a software engineer and like 70% of our work is done on Linux/Unix/etc.
Development environments on linux are extremely powerful, I don't know for game dev though, but any other commercial programming is mostly done on mac/linux because of a great shell and a stable environment.\

The only time you see devs jumping ship to windows is because of Visual studio or C# but that's for windows dev
