I'm thinking about jailbreaking but.

From my experience it lowers my battery life, and some friends say it slows down the phone and just forgets it up.

If you actually know what you're doing do it, because personal information is easily obtainable if you don't take the necessary precautions. (I mean changing the root password so people can't get in through ssh)
