iirc there's plenty evidence that suggests global warming is a part of a cycle and not caused by humans-- we just sped it up. either way, i am all for dropping the use of fossil fuels wherever possible and focusing research/funds on renewable resources and sustainable urban agriculture, but to think that we can stop or even significantly slow down global warming is ridiculous and should not be made a top priority
