doesnt the L85 have weight issues?

weight isnt the only issue those glorified paperweights have

im so glad this thread is already a train wreck

if you're not buying for recreational/collecting reasons, skip out on a 7.62 entirely. 5.56 will be more practical and cost much less all-around

the tavor is a great choice, if you can find one for the right price. the RDB with an adjustable gas block, straight-down ejection, and higher accuracy is also something worth considering, if you can find one at all

v v v  daanng i completely forgot the aug existed

sounds like a solid waste of time

bmw refrained from calling the E87 1M an "M1" to avoid confusion with the original M1 even though it still makes more sense, yet they have no problem calling this turd a 6-series for marketing reasons since it didn't sell well being designated as a 5-series smFh

also another friend got a "new" car: austin couldn't stand dealing with the 1.6t fusion he picked up after totaling his 2006 a6 over the winter, so he traded it in for a cherry red 2011 a4 2.0t. beforehand he actually offered to buy my 330ci to use as a summer/fun car and keep the fusion for bad weather/winter, buuut i didn't wanna sell it lol

i gotta get pics of the a4 and the supra still. btw the supra sounds almost like this-- except it's a few decibels louder and a little raspier up top than that

i used to be scared of spiders, but after spending my teenage years sleeping in an unfinished basement and having a wide variety of them show up in my room they just dont really bother me anymore. woke up once with what looked like a parsons spider sitting on my knee, which it bit. the worst case was 2 wolf spiders in one night; they were too fast for me to smash with a shoe so i shot them with a gas airsoft pistol

any idea why my truck would have a "rough start"?
whenever i cold start it it jerks and sounds gnarly and then the revs fluctuate between 1000-1500 for a few seconds before going down to 500

vacuum leak(s), probably

after a cold start with the engine idling, spray some propane or starter fluid all along the intake tubes where you think a tear/dislocation/hole/etc could be. if the engine starts revving faster then that means it sucked in the gas where you sprayed it, which means you do have at least one vacuum leak and you should either patch up that hole or replace the tube/boot entirely

friend who has the old civic just got a beat up a70 supra for dirt cheap (what a70 isnt tho). it's only got the 7m-ge, is plasti-dipped matte black, and the exhaust is heavily modified, but being an I6 it sounds great by default and it's a RWD. its just loud as stuff (louder than travis' no-muffler c4 vette we tested side-by-side last night)

i saw a kia stinger on the freeway

they aren't even out yet

why was it there

testers/reviewers i guess. i just searched those up and its actually a p nice sporty-looking sedan
