Gallery / How to Build - A Tutorial (Image Heavy)

First off:  The title is purely to spark your interest. 

• This is not saying "This is how to do (Thing), your way is wrong". 
  It is, however, a good baseline preceding an upload of your build to the gallery on the Blockland forums.
• Is this saying "Don't upload"?  No.  But it is asking you if you think your build is ready to be called "Finished".
• Why did I make this?  Boredom.  Also, I'm critical with life.  Also also, it's technically a build and I made it, even if it's all red bricks and/or a house with detailing.

Let's Begin, shall we!?

This is a basic red wall made out of decent sized bricks, and shaped evenly.  It is still, however, no where near done.  Don't submit this as finished, "obviously".

This is the same wall built with 1x1x5s.  DO NOT DO THIS.  You all do it, so stop.  It irritates people, causes men to have periods, and women to grow mustaches.  ...just stop it.

Remember this?  It's a red wall of course.  THE red wall of course.  Yes, from the above picture.  This one, however, has been upgraded.  I added a door (le gasp!) and two, count 'em... TWO windows.  The things below the windows show that your "wall" can have depth.  Go crazy, be creative.  It's a cool thing to do, bro.

Look.  I colored it.  Your cool house can, believe it or not, have multiple colors.  Don't be a loser and have the only red house on the block.  The neighbors don't like it.

After coloring it, you should think about adding more to it.  After all, a wall can be walked around, hung from, and pushed over.  Consider adding a few more walls.  Expand it.

"Woah!"  One guy might say, "Hold on there champ!  That is totally different from the last picture!"  Can you guess why?  It's simple really, the step most people forget!  You can DECORATE your build!  That's right, you can add things to the front of the build to tell everyone "This is a HOUSE for LIVING in, and is NOT a BATHROOM.  A box can be anything.  It can even be another box.  Make a house, not a box.  Use color variations, add details, add extras, add bushes.

This part is the hardest for people to understand.  You can add decoration to the inside as well as the outside of your build.  A house is not a home without a bed to have love on.  The truth is truthful.  Go wild, go crazy, go insane, kill others... but most of all, decorate your living room.

After all is said and done... make sure you FINISH your build.  It's simple.  Not hard.  Do what you've done, except close the walls, finish the design, build it up.  A building shouldn't be bland and reflect your home life... make it interesting like the life you wish you had!

It sucks, but people check the whole build.  Add some crud to the back of it so they won't bitch at you.  Look! a dumpster!

I want an item that gives Score / a Variable when picked up.  It goes away after a player touches it, and in the preferences section of Admin Control, you can change what variable it gives, and how much along with if any score is earned.

GENERIC CAVE AND ROCK KIT KIT:

Hello everyone.  I've put together a generic piecing system for anyone and everyone to be able to create massive structured rock formation bases using generic slants, ramps and corner segments with no hassle.   Also, I've include Cave segments for underground caves.


Cave:

Rock:

Sample Completed Rock View - A bit basic and unnatural, but you can stack the segments as shown.  I finished the top off with some ramps.

Side Note: If you find it stupid, ugly, evil(?) or otherwise, I permit you to say so.  I don't want ratings, just felt like posting this onto the forums for those who want to try it out.  Remember:  This is Blockland, what you see can always be rebuilt.  The colors aren't permanent, and neither are the walls.  I personally don't find it to be spam to build like you see.  If you do, then realize nobody is forcing you to download.

Was there ever a Capture Deathmatch gamemode where it works like siege, but whichever team had more bases would win?

Help / Bot Events (Need Fix)

In the bot events, the "OnBotKilled" doesn't seem to actually work with the player who killed it.

If you use this event, currently, it only counts the owner of the Bot's spawn brick as the "Player" or "Killer" of the Bot for "OnBotKilled"

Can I get a fix for this?  I want it to regard to actual player who Shot, Sworded, Nuked or w/e the bot as the "Killer".  Not the brick owner.

Help / Freeze When Clicking Outside Window

When I click outside of the Blockland window, and back into the game it freezes for 1-3 mins.

It's obviously annoying as hell when trying to do anything BESIDES Blockland while playing Blockland.

Help / Phrase Error:Unknown Database

I load my servers and all the events are "on player touch --> Player Kill" or "On player touch --> change color "Red""

Why did this happen?  I touch em and get this error. "Phrase Error:Unknown Database"
