Off Topic / Hilton Head Island :D

Well, I'm on Hilton Head Island for the week, posting from my dad's laptop. For some reason, I decided not to even post on the forums until today. Anyways, my parents own a condo in the Shipyard area of the  island, and every year we usually take an 11 hour car trip from our little corner of Ohio to get down here. So far, we got a visit from my cousin, who lives just off the island at Beaufort, had ribs from the Steakhouse restaurant and went to the beach once.

which brings up something really crappy. the high tides are at like 8 AM, and I am NEVER up by then unless I have to do something that early.  I got to the beach on Tuesday because my brother and my dad were out golfing, and the waves were out so far because it was just about low tide, there was a completely uncovered sand bar in the middle of the beach. the waves were about as high as your old man's belt a grasshopper's knee. Which sucked.

We hope to do all the stuff we normally do, like Minigolf, take a bikeride to one of the best Icecream parlors on the island, and some other stuff I can't remember at the moment.

Off Topic / Going to the State Fair

I'm going to the state fair tommorrow for my Rocketry project.

I have to leave early tommorrow, drive for two hours, and stay at the fairgrounds untill 8 PM or so, the head home.

I hope there is some semi-decent rides there.
At my county fair the most entertaning ride was the Arcade :c

I'll try to keep you updated on my dad's smartphone, but no promises.

Off Topic / Finally Geting a Xbox 360

Well, MY brother is and I'm gonna pay for the online stuff.

Anyways, my brother and I are getting an Xbox 360.
Right now, we can eithe get a used (I think) one for around $105, or get a new Elite for around $250 (with Forza 3 and Halo 3 ODST), but we will have to wait for it to save up a little more.

I am also planning on getting the Orange Box.
Give us ideas on what to get and ect.

Post your funniest moments of your life in this topic.

Well, I'll start.

       Well, over the weekend, I had to go to a Summer camp. It had it's share of funny stuff. On the first day, the other boys in my cabin got up, then I got up and started to get ready for breakfast. All of a sudden, one of the boys jumps up and starts yelling "SPIDER! SPIDER!" So, one of our counselors replies "Are you guys serious? A spider? Whatever. Lemme see the thing." He rolled out of his bunk, half asleep, and walks over to the spider on my brothers backpack. He rubs his eyes and then goes "OH MY GOD!" from what I saw, it was as big around as a softball.

        Another pretty funny thing was that someone pulled a prank on the camp, ripping up the counselors' beds and smearing shaving cream all over the doors and unused bunks. In the shaving cream was random things, for example, our cabin had a "=)" on the door and "I love you" written on an unused bunk. We were inspecting the damage when another boy's counselor came in and wanted to talk to the counselors in our cabin. I forget mainly what he said, but I did hear: "My bed is gone. AGAIN." This was perfect timing, because his bed was already Seran-wrapped, and taken once. We had no idea where it was, so we went on assessing the damages. I heard some yells outside, and went to investigate. I saw something on the roof of the boy's bathrooms, and then someone pointed out that it was the one counselor's bed.

Help / I need some Events

I'm editing Mr. Mulch's L4D2 The Streets save to have weapons and events, but I ran into a snag. I made the coke and set the truck to go up in smoke, I need a way to make the players get the coke and then "Drop" it in the dropbox on Whitaker's door which will cause the truck to blow up.
Any help?

Intro:
Well, I get bored easily, expecially in school. One day, I just finished a book (Maximum Ride, to be exact) and I dreamed (literally, in some parts) up a story. I started writing the story one day in class. It's based off of the Max Ride series, about a boy named Drew by a lab company who mistook him for another experiment that escaped.

I need to get something like MS Word on my computer and upload it to something like mediafire, then the first part will be up.
I will post part one, then if the community likes it, I'll keep posting, one part (hopefully) every week.

Gallery / Dnitro's Left 4 Block Campain

Well, I was bored in class and drew a sketch of a possible Left 4 Block Campain. I am just now starting up a server under my ingame name, -Fang-, and starting on the begining.

Sofar, the survivors are hunkered down in a Fire hall, which is the safehouse. They decide to go out and fight, and grab some weapons on their way out. They head up the street, and into an old abandoned (Abandoned way before the infected popped up) hotel because the road is blocked off. They head up into the second floor and onto a balcony and jump the small gap onto another building and procede down to it's ground floor. They head out of the small waitng room to the street. That's as far as I got.


I'll clean up this topic post soon, after pics. I need ideas of where to go.

There was no Adv. Wars thread,(I searched)SO I made one :D

This series of games are turn based strategy games based on warDUH
The plot varies from game to game, but the 5 teams are in regular use through out the original Advanced Wars (GBA)-Advanced Wars: Dual Strike (DS-DSi). Apocalypse ensues on the 4th of the Advanced Wars series, Days of Ruin. The teams are disbanded and EVERYONE DIES   Exept for some, who break out in war (as far as I know).

• Green Earth
• Yellow Comet
• Black Hole

*The teams are for Advanced wars, Advanced Wars 2, and Advanced wars DS.

The Commanding Officers (CO's)
Orange Star : Andy, Max, Sami, Nell, Hachi*, Rachel**, Jake**,
Blue Moon : Olaf, Grit, Colin*, Sasha**
Green Earth: Drake, Eagle, Jess*, Javier**
Yellow Comet: Kanbei, Sonja, Sensei*, Grimm**
Black Hole: Sturm, Hawke*, Adder*, Flak*, Jugger**, Koal**, Kindle**

Notes: one * means that they first appeared in AW2, two *'s (**) mean that they made their appearence in AW:DS.

The Advanced Wars games are acually just the "Wars" series, the first being Faimicom ( ) Wars, That evolved in to a sequel, then the series went mobile as Gameboy Wars, then went to the GBA as Advanced Wars.

There is ALOT more on this series, I will put more on the main post when I get around to it. I is lazy

Off Topic / BSoD'ing

ARRRRGGGGGGG
My computer keeps BSoD ing on me at random intervals. It could be when I'm playing Blockland, When i'm typing a post for the forums or ANYTHING.
We (me and my dad) TRIED to fix it, We switched out the HD cord, and STILL it
BSoD'd on me. I'm stuck playing some of my games (related problem that I'm too lazy to type here) on my Bro's computer. ARRRRRRGGGGGGGG
This is the only part of the forums that i thought I could post this and not get banned.
I just wanna play my games without losing all my progress.
This is Hell on Hell on Hell on lettuce on earth. 
I just wanna smack it with a brick.

Help / Out of game options needed

I have a problem.
I was on a server, and I noticed that the player names faded out at a close range. I toyed with some falloff dist things and hit "apply"
My monitor faded black and said "H.V. frequency out of range." This has happened before. I don't remember how to fix it except for this: Resolution.
The screen Blacked out when I set my BL resolution to 1200 x 700 or something, like my desktop. What I need is a way to change the options OUT OF THE GAME. Please reply. I will gives you Cake :D
