so i finally got my new computer to work and fired this stuff up, gimme some beginners tips thx

It's not too bad, I've still yet to move the cables around again because so far the extra fans make the cables messy, i've used all the tie wraps also. Wbu?
I've got one tie wrap left I think. I don't like how the top hole gets covered by the mobo tho, couldn't run the CPU power wire from behind cause of that. Might try taking the mobo out slightly and running the cable. Other than that I guess it was okay for my first build lol

I'll take a few pics whe I install the ssd

damn boi u b swaggin out
Still waiting on an ssd for the boot drive :( How did u find the cable management?

GPU help pls:
Current/new build -
Intel Core i5-4670K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor
Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO
Gigabyte GA-Z87X-D3H ATX LGA1150 Motherboard
Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600
Zalman Z11 Plus ATX Mid Tower Case
PSU OCZ ZT 750w 80plus Bronze Full Modular.

I have 3 screens, 1 TV (1920x1080), and 2 BenQ G920WL monitors (1440x900). Won't be gaming on all 3 (because of resolution differences blabla) but am hoping to upgrade them in the sometime in the future and get some 1440p monitors or something.

Budget is around £400, would prefer something that I can crossfire/sli in the future if need be.
Thanks

So I finally got all my parts, except for a graphics which I haven't ordered yet.

I was naive enough to think my old HDD would work just like that :(
Gonna see if I can pick up a nice, relatively cheap SSD in the coming days lol

splinter cell blacklist for £14.99 hmmmmm

that is actually $1 off of the US price, with a box and cooler.

just look at the brit price and compare. a decent cooler will run you $30-40

edit: also, no box? will it even work? how has he stored it?
Think it's the OEM version. It's like £50~ off RRP here and £20 off the cheapest "discounted" I could find so I bought it.

I got a hyper 212 evo for about £22 a while back so I wasn't too worried about not having a stock cooler.

I know what you are saying, but you give us no information about anything on your build, what your budget is, etc. You need to have a budget for building a computer so people can tell you if it's worth it or not. You just come on with random parts every day or two like "y/n" and without giving us anything about the build we cannot tell you if it is worth it or not.
shieeet son, my bad, I'll be more descriptive next time.

Is an i5-4670k brand new but no box/cooler for £139+£6.99 p&p a good price?

161
Why do you come on this thread every few days and post a link and say "y/n". What's the point in this? You don't post anything about what your budget is, you don't say anything about your system, etc. All you do is randomly post parts like "Y/N'.

Edit: Sorry for double post.
y/n meaning is it worth it or not? I don't have a budget but I'm not looking to spend stupidly

should i get a non ref r9 290 or spend ~£100 more and get a non reference r9 290x?

165
ok wait, could I just stay with 1 GPU atm and a lower wattage PSU and then SLI/Crossfire and upgrade my PSU in a few years time? Or would it be more beneficial to get a higher wattage PSU now?
