See this is why these "group" things never work.

I honestly can't tell what's going on. I've got a few guesses but just seeing a strand on her(?) finger could mean many things
What about the constitutional rights of the religious? Do gays have the right to discriminate against religious people by forcing them to go against what they believe? Thats what the 2nd amendment is for.Are you suggesting we shoot gays who try to be treated equally?
my first accident sucked real badThat's terrible, sorry to hear. Once again, it's good that nobody was hurt and things got resolved smoothly.

it was my mom's boyfriend's car
he ended up just buying a new one (still a mini cooper s though)
I'm, like, legally not allowed to drive it? apparently it was part of his insurance thing
Today when I was walking home I was in the cross walk which had no stops on either side. A street over a train comes through and some dumbass guns his car through the rail intersection and blasts his horn at me. Almost ran me over.People like that are often either impatient, arrogant, or both. Use them as an example of what not to do.
Hell, I'm pursuing damages for any little thing someone does to my vehicle in an accident. You would take money from a teenager even after insurance paid for all the damages?
What kind of car is it?Honda Civic Hybrid
I'm just being objective.
Nah you weren't paying attention driving the two ton death trap.
There's no real way to determine whether or not you knowing of the stop light ahead of time would have prevented the accident, but just that information alone can suggest that you weren't paying full attention to the road. On the other hand a quick, random stop can be a dangerous maneuver to make with traffic behind youOnramps to highways closer to me have giant flashing signs that say "meter on," displaying that traffic-metering stop lights will be on. This ramp did not have it, and it was the first time I took it. I have the feeling the lady in front of me stopped so fast was for the same reason. There just wasn't anyone in front of her. And looking at traffic is something you're supposed to do when gauging how you react to traffic.
If I came off as rude I apologizeCame off as rude?

You deserve the deductible at least.
If you're watching traffic instead of the car in front of you its your problem.
[you] don't realize how dangerous something as mundane as a car can be.
Nah you weren't paying attention driving the two ton death trap. You deserve the deductible at least. You're also lucky she isn't pursuing you for damages to her can since it seems you're at fault. The rates going up will suck though, my sympathies in that part.forget off. You don't pursue damages for lost paint, yet alone someone without deep pockets, stop being melodramatic. Last time I checked, checking your surroundings is something you do as a driver, and happening to check at just the wrong time is not something you can wave off as carelessness on my part. I'm not sure if you actually read the OP but the cop who came told me this spot was not uncommon for fender benders.
Five years I've been driving and I've yet to have a wreck or get a ticket. How do you even have an accident?
as I was pulling onto the first interstate, a woman made a quick stop at a light I didn't see, and I slammed on the breaks. I was looking over at the traffic to my left, not expected a stop light, and yet still driving the speed limit.I'm a good driver. I won't ever get a ticket, but this was out of the blue and not due to any sort of carelessness or neglect of law.
tell your parents how you feel about your brother not getting punished i guessThey said the damage he caused would be worth 20,000 dollars to fix, and therefore he doesn't have to pay for it. Since mine is payable, I have to pay for it (although its the full deductible, a headlamp doesn't cost 500 dollars).
wont help the lightbulb but it might let off some of your steam
-Keylogging is ON by DEFAULT, and submits it to microsoftWhy do people still believe this?
pics or story pleaseSo, I'm not sure if many people know, but there's a stereotype about old Asian ladies starting and stopping cars really fast. I'm not sure how true it was, but it was the exact situation I was just in. I was heading onto a major highway via ramp, and training a BMW. I turned to look at traffic, and next thing I knew, the car was sliding to a halt. I probably shouldn't have been going fast enough to not recognize that, but still. I made an insurance claim and a highway patrol made a report and all is fine. I just broke a headlight is all.
