Liking this show isn't something that special, just another fandom. Hating someone for their tastes despite if they don't bring it up much is just a bad way to go thopugh life.

lol same here. He talks about it a fair amount not in public, but I still respect him.

What sort of friend is that? Someone who can't respect you due to a fandom don't deserve your friendship, regardless of what you like.

Unless you bring it up excessivly, which he then has a reason to.

You know, if your friend starts rubbing ponies in your face after you tell him you politly don't like it, don't feel obliged to keep being his friend. If he gets obnoxious, what he likes makes no difference.
