Define moderate gaming? If you're going to get a cpu with integrated, you should probably go intel because of build quality and etc.

I want a nice gaming computer that can run Portal 2 at max settings, but isn't overly priced or bigger than the hp pavillion p6510y

You don't need much power to run portal 2, my stuffty laptop can probably run it at max
Find a benchmark you want that isn't a source game

You can carry around 3 rockets without hurting yourself and fire them whenever.
Also, you can rocket jump while having them loaded. Guess what's legal in UGC?

I mean, this will help you get medic picks but you'll probably get run over anyway if you can't spam chokes with rockets that fly where you aim

I think you should get a better upgrade than that. Unless you can trade in your 7770 for the 650 somehow, it's not really worth it for you to purchase another graphics card that does a bit better than your current one. If I were deciding between the 7770 and the 650 in a rig, I would choose the 650. However, if I had a rig that already had a 7770 I would save up for something nicer

I already have the money. Im just debating if i should go with a 690 now or wait until the new cards.

afaik, nvidia hasn't announced anything for their new cards, so it's probably fine to get a 690 now
