Eksi is right. 0/0 is indeterminate, and does not equal 1

If x = 0, x/x is neither zero nor infinite
Since there's nothing else in your equation, you can't simplify more and 0/0 is pretty much what you're stuck with

You can find the limit of f(x) = x / x though. According to l'hopital's rule, the limit of f(x) as x approaches 0 is 1

Yea bitch?!?!?!
maybe you should submit your own builds to botwdropbox@gmail.com

link to any monitors? i have no idea where to look

ALSO

what is a case that is similar in form factor to the BitFenix prodigy but can handle more than 1 graphics card?
I have 2 monitors that are this. Just use newegg to filter down monitors that are 1080p
For the case thing, I don't think there are any miniITX motherboards that have slots for 2 cards, so it follows there aren't any cases that have space for two either. You should look into the form factor called "microATX", which is the next size bigger.

best cheap 1080p monitor?

a while ago i remember there being a discussion on monitors but i can't find it
$100 will get you something 21" 60hz, that's the sweet spot imo

Bought a Samsung 840 250gb SSD for my Macbook, they any good???
you should have gone for an 840 evo
I mean, you already own a macbook so there's literally no excuse for not paying top dollar for components. That's not a stab at you or apple, it's true

You guys realize that some tasks like video editing/rendering and similar need a stuff load of ram?
It would be more be more beneficial to get 16gb of faster ram. Seriously, who the forget gets 1600mhz ram with 11-11-11 timings

General Discussion / Re: Jake's modeling/poster services (NEW PRICING)
« on: April 02, 2014, 06:37:03 PM »
I think you've got a reasonable idea here and I hope it works out for you, but honestly it doesn't look like your models are that good. They're not like terrible or anything, just very plain. I might pay someone $1.50 to make a very nice model that I couldn't do myself easily, but I definitely wouldn't pay for one that simple. I certainly don't speak for everyone, quite a few people (elm comes to mind) would pay for cheap/fast work. But, I think you could get a lot more "business" from people like me if you were more advanced at modeling.

edit:
Maybe I didn't read the topic right, but you said you're willing to be paid to make models.
Do those models include everything he/she needs to export said model into game or have you covered that, honestly if I was doing this I wouldn't model something for someone and expect them to know what to do with it. That's just like giving a baby an unopened can of baby food and expecting him to eat it.
This is a good point. In all likelihood, people who will buy from you will not know how to do this themselves (because if they did know how to get it ingame chances are they would know how to model too)

You would pay $120 for a case only if you were actually going to use what you paid for. This case is really nice because there's a lot of thought put into the layout, especially concerning airflow and cable management. It also has a very nice build quality, meant to protect your expensive hardware better than a cardboard box. If you can't appreciate that, then you're correct in saying it would be a waste of money. Plenty of people have made computer cases out of cardboard, there are obvious tradeoffs but it's certainly not impossible to do

the update wasn't a april fools joke but it definitely was a joke
Are you kidding, this is about as good as it gets for non-content updates

1) Improved the Backpack UI
Added page buttons for all pages
Removed prev/next buttons
Updated the drag/drop behavior to interact with the page buttons
- ABOUT loving TIME
2) Crate drop rates have been significantly lowered - Thank god, that was always one of the things that needed to change but I thought never would
3) Fixed framerate affecting player turn rate while using the Demoman's shield charge - Proof that we loving did something as a community
