First, you said he didn't get a key.
Then, you said he didn't have a file.
Those are two completely different things. So basically, he pirated it because he may have gotten a file, but he did not get an official key.

My bro signed up for it before the beta was released, but once it was, he didn't get a key. So he searched for a LONG time, but eventually, he found a mod that was VIRUS. FREE.

We already had the beta installed, we just couldn't get in because we didn't have a file, so he found a mod which made it work.

Explanation please. You changed your story.
