Off Topic / This loving "cute music" is in commercials and videos everywhere

There's a certain kind of music I've noticed for a while now appears loving everywhere. It's all over commercials and web videos and it has two main components:
Together they play a cheery melody, sometimes accompanied by other elements such as simple percussion, whistling, or soft strings. The result is an incredibly sickeningly sweet style of music I've grown to hate. I probably wouldn't hate it so much if not for the fact that it is goddamn everywhere. Sometimes it's mixed in so loud you can't actually hear the important stuff. If I hear music like this in a video I stop watching. I will not stand for it.
Linking an example would be a waste of time. If you read the above description and live on Earth, you know exactly what I'm talking about.
There's no real point to this. I just had to rant somewhere.
- 1. Ukulele or acoustic guitar strums playing chords.
- 2. Tuned percussion instrument (glockenspiel, xylophone, etc.) playing melody.
