oh god
I couldn't help it

EDIT: THAT WAS ONLY A YEAR AGO
not necessarily taking his side, but people can change a lot in a year. *looks at my past and shudders*

I agree with what mysteroo and the others said. I also felt like his tracks were too mechanical and quantized, and not fluid/"human" enough.

I think there's a method that involves setting an alarm to go off in four hours and then falling asleep, waking up to the alarm, and going back to sleep. I always seem to wake up a couple minute before the alarm goes off and shut it off without thinking anything of it, so I cannot verify it's integrity. This nignog lol
yeah, it's called WBTB (wake back to bed). It's a good technique because it puts you straight into REM sleep (assuming you woke up from REM sleep when the alarm went off.)
you still have to be aware you're dreaming for it to work obv, so while you're awake for the short period, read some more about ld'ing (thinking about ld'ing improves ld chance) and use mnemonics etc etc

generic makki... with no arms

made some cool gestury thing PHAGOCYTOSIS

needed practice rendering stuff with traditional utensils (like a real artist!). The foreshortening/size on the skull is off, but otherwise not too bad imo

Speaking of clothing folds, how do you even do that?

I've been starting to draw more often now that I have an intuos but I honest to goodness can not draw clothing folds or anything like that.
The best way to learn is observe, obviously. different fabrics fold different ways and demonstrating smooth folds vs jagged folds will make your clothes all the more believable.
But a picture that really helped me out, and made it all "click" for me was this:

from this blog post. I'm sure there are much better tutorials out there, and it would be best to look for them as well, but this picture demonstrates the basics pretty well, i think. The most important thing about folds is tension (or the lack thereof) and imagining in your head how that stretching affects the fabric. But of course, it's not easy to just "imagine" it all so that's why i reccommended observing from life too :p
