currently trying to log into the WiFi to configure the port. Wish it were simpler.
Yeah its weird because people can join my Blockland server, using the same WiFiMinecraft has different ports, I believe.

If you really mean Heatsink, you should be fine if you're upgrading to a newer CPU as long as your motherboard supports said heatsink, and the heatsink is large enough and powerful enough to transfer the heat of a newer CPU.Yeah, I meant heatsink.
If you mean Socket, depending on how old your motherboard is you may have to buy a new motherboard to support a newer processor.
