I didn't mean them as a replacement. I understand completely that 5 height doors stay true to legos and work as the game. But, when I try to build realistic things, which I do quite often, My doors seam disproportionate to everything else.

This is just an example, although I'm sure that you guys get what I'm trying to say.

I was wondering if anybody had ever taken the time to make doors that 6 bricks tall instead of 5. The 5 brick doors are a roadblock that I always have to overcome or avoid when I build houses and buildings, because realistically doors and people aren't the same height. I'm not sure on the difficulty, but I've talked with some other friends ingame and it seems like a lot of people feel the same way I do and would like to see taller doors.

Unless its just a texture and we can change it server wide like we do now.

It looks like a pretty solid build. The only thing I would suggest changing is the ram. 32gb is rediculous in almost any consumer application. I would highly suggest moving down t.
o 16 or even 8. If your friend really wants 32gb, get two 4x4gb kits, remember that you have 8 dims to fill.

4.2ghz is a very slight overclock and thus should not need much of a cooler. Definetly not the NH-D14 which, in honesty, is a probably more than you would ever need. It sounds pretty clearly like your friend doesn't know much about computers, so you should probably verify that you know how to overclock anyway...

Although I personally think its a little ridiculous to spend $600 on a cpu,  I would suggest something along the lines of the hyper 212+ or the Xigmatek dark knight. If you really wanted to push it or just felt like taking a bigger chunk out of your friends absurd budget, I would suggest looking at Corsair's Hydro series of coolers, and Antec's Kuhler series. Both are AIO liquid cooling systems. I know that you said you are afraid that they might leak or something, but after the 100s of 1000s of units they've shipped, I haven't heard of  a single recent case of them leaking. I know that there might have been a few with the very early h50's, but I haven't heard of any h70s, or h100s that have gone bad.

Would you mind posting the rest of the build? I'm curious to know what you put together with $2600.

I actually solved the problem right as you posted it. I built and evented the castle and other pieces outside of the castle before duplicating them inside of the arena. In my idiocy I forgot that there were 2 (sometimes 3) copies of everything thus doubling (or tripling) the amount of events called.

Help / Increase Schedules past 1000

I've been building a zombie defense which requires that I hide and unhide 1000's of bricks at once. Whenever I try to use my toggle switches which are meant to enable and disable the build, I get the "Too many events at once" error. I've been fiddling with it for quite awhile, and it appears that no matter what I set it to it just reverts back to 1000. I tried using an ingame server options mod (I think it was Chrono's...), but that just limited it to 500.

Do I have another mod that is interfering, or is there something that I need to change elsewhere to get my limit higher?

Dang. I can't get to his house for a few days, or a week. He lives 10 minutes away.
I'll try the USB. Is there a bootable image/program for USB where I can format the HDD, so I can install XP? That's what I was going to do.

I know that you could boot into a lightweight linux installation (on the usb) and format the harddrive by simply deleting the partitions.

It sound like your re installation disk (I'm assuming you're using an OEM one) is broken. If you have a dvd burner you should be able to simply burn a new one and then use the product key on the bottom of the laptop.

I'm installing it right now and I'll see about that. I've got the 2GB version. Maybe Righteous One has the 1GB model.

I've got 570's in sli. :)

I guess I should have probably elaborated more... Some places in the game aren't optimized great, so while I got a solid 60 fps throughout most of the game some places are just insane. When you first get to White Run go up to the top of the city infront of Draonsreach and look down towards the city. I should probably add that I have quite a few other "graphic enhancing" mods running. If you want a list or something I can post it.
