I'll downgrade your face.

At 1920x1080 the 1gb card should be fine.

$125

Power Supply:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817371016
$65

HD:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822152185

Total Price = $808

Does it seem good?

What resolution are you playing at? If you're at or under 1920x1080 the 1gb card will give you the same performance and save you $50.

Looks like a pretty solid build though. Glad to see you did research before trying to throw something together.

Having used Beats I must say that for the price range I am definitely not impressed. Albeit they down sound pretty good and they look amazing (the aluminum ones, not the plastic ones), but I much prefer my Audio Technica's.

They easily put out sound as good or better than the beats and were only $150 compared to the absurd prices beats usually come at.

If anybody is interested google Audio Technica ATH-M50.

pretty much every graphics card released in the last 5 or so years uses PCI-E. So yes, it does.

It is, however, quite a bit longer and will require that you have either two 6 pin connectors on your psu or four molex connectors available. Both of those are assuming that your power supply will put out enough wattage to support it.

What people will  pay just to have a brand name product in the room barely anyone goes in.

yo mane! check out these sick ass "beats by. Dre".
they only costed me $500 and they make my ipods stuffty sound quality sound  sooo much better

bf3 is pretty demanding. it should do great on high, but i wouldn't expext to be playing it on ultra-max. bf3 also favors nvidia cards

1: find computer with almost exact same specs running windows

2: hackintosh

Nope. It will only work if you use third party software/hardware. The scaling is usually pretty bad aswell.

It's $50 cheaper. There isn't really any significant advantage that the Asrock has over the Gigabyte. The Gigabyte was used in Tom's hardware $2000 performance system and is a recommended buy by them. The Gigabyte also doesn't have all of the useless inputs the Asrock has.

If the looks of the board are worth $50 to you then it looks like a decent buy, but I'm sure you could do better.

I am acting the way I am because you aren't grasping the advice that is constantly being givin.

You are horrendously over complicating the process of building a computer. We gave you a parts list like 4 topics ago why aren't you using it?

If you decide to buy more monitors than you shouldn't be using the 6950 anyways. You need to be sensible and understand that what I am trying to tell you is actually true. I'm not just spurting stuff out of my mouth when I tell you that you don't need something or that it is redundant.

Take the advice given instead of challenging it with your own ideas of what you might need. When you start a topic or enter one asking a question you should take the answer. If you personally feel that we are out to get you and that your decision is better than go with it. If it turns out bad then don't make that mistake again.

Get this motherboard: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128512

Ok, might as well spend the extra cash on a high-quality mobo.

Do I need PCI-E 3?

Also, should I downgrade the HAF X to HAF 932? Less price plus it has 3 230mm fans instead of just 200mm.

You don't need four cards. You will never need four cards. Please get this through your abnormally thick skull.

Unless you have 3 monitors each running at a resolution exceeding or equal to 1920x1080 you will not need more than one 6950 card.

Why are you getting the toxic edition? It costs $50 more for a stuffty overclock that you could do yourself anyways. You apparently know how to overclock or something already so why would you even think you need that in the first place. This is your first loving build. Be real and don't tell yourself that you need 4 cards for a stuffty monitor or that you will need to overclock your processor to 5ghz. You'll probably end up breaking your processor if you try to overclock it yourself so I would recommend staying with the default cooler so that the thought of overclocking never even crosses your mind.

Get the 932.

I thought about that too, but tom's hardware used the same power supply with a very similar build so I figure it should be fine.

Don't get an ssd. It is completely useless to you and will only complicate things more.

You definetly won't need the 2gb cards for just 1080p. Get two 1gb cards and save yourself $100.
