The reason is that simple; he coded the launcher to download and extract files only, nothing else. He cannot command the launcher to delete files, he'd have to re-code the launcher, distribute it on the forums/website and hope that everyone gets the latest version.
I find it odd that he didn't make it delete files in the first place. In my opinion it's a rather important thing to have in an updater.

But I'm going to call it Badspot Castle. Started working on it two days ago. It's not an exact replica as I scaled some parts to fit Blockland better and I took some artistic freedom where I couldn't replicate the original track. Modular terrain bricks, custom prints. (Some prints are WIP and some are missing.)

In CTR you can have a maximum of 8 racers and that would be the ideal amount in Blockland as well.

Track: 100%
Details/walls/ceiling: 80%
Eventing: 50%
Time: ~45 hours
Bricks: ~10k

You can't change datablocks dynamically but you could have 3 versions (slow, normal, fast) of 1 vehicle then use the changeVehicle event.

I won't be able to finish my blackjack any time soon. I have other things to do in Blockland that I find more interesting and I have a ton of stuff to do for school.

This happens because the bricks are actually cuboid even though some of them visually look like a ramp. You can't help it and I can't think of an easy way to fix it on Badspot's end either.
