Ok, I have a question: how do I set up vehicle wheels in blender? This has me stumped.
I've never done wheeled vehicles in Blender. I have no idea.

What exactly is the "wrong name"? I changed the "muzzleNode" to "mountNode", but that didn't fix anything.
Your bone in Blender is called "muzzlePoint" not "muzzleNode".

The projectile isn't supposed to have a visible model. It's just meant to be an effect, like most other laser weapon add-ons.
Code: [Select]
   particleEmitter     = ""; //BZLPTrailEmitter;
The projectile doesn't have an emitter.

What exactly do I do with this and what does it fix? Or, is this line just a waste of space?
I'd change it to "Ready" and see what happens. That state is called after the timeout.

Would asking for a Gun thread be dismissive?
We don't need another one. This is the gun thread.

Code: [Select]
stateEmitterNode[2]				= "muzzleNode";
Wrong name.

Code: [Select]
   projectileShapeName = "base/data/shapes/empty.dts";
Empty model = no model

Code: [Select]
	stateTransitionOnTimeout[2]     = "Smoke";
You have not defined a state with the name "Smoke".

Out of those I can recommend Battle for Wesnoth and Dink Smallwood.

The guide said that the meshes shouldn't be parented to anything.
Oh yeah. Forgot about that, it's too old to edit anyways. You don't need to do any parenting, I never do.

How do I move my mesh + armatures to the world centre?
That's kind of your problem since you've modeled it strangely. First I would find the center of the handle (your mountpoint is at the center by the way), move the cursor there, move the mountpoint to the cursor, move all the origins of the objects to the cursor, move the cursor to the world center, snap the objects to the cursor, reposition the muzzlepoint at the center of the barrel (it currently isn't).

I did everything the guide said about fixing the normals, in both 2.64 and 2.49.
Recalculating normals isn't 100% perfect. Some manual work is usually required.

That is a script that runs on a web server that changes a PNG image (that is then fetched by that wiki page) at a fast rate giving the illusion of a video feed. There are a couple of variations to the images, it's not always an empty hallway.

A classmate did this in his old school once.
Except he didn't open the site himself, there was this girl sitting next to him who was wearing glasses and got straight A all the time.
She opened the site, instant research started.
Teacher saw the research, you can imagine how this continues...
Orgy.

Modification Help / Re: What do particle.zips need in them?
« on: December 12, 2012, 11:38:45 AM »
Extract another particle add-on and looks what's inside. Copy the CS file to your particle add-on and edit that. I've never done any of my add-ons from scratch. It is much easier to just copy an existing add-on and then modify that.

Okay, I just put my model into the game, but some of the faces are still invisible, even though I followed every direction in this exporting guide.

The offset's all screwed up too. I have the mountPoint right in the center of the handle, but the handle of my model is above the player's hand.
If you're going to do parenting do it right. Parent your mesh to detail32.

Your entire thing is above the world center. I don't think it should matter if you've applied the location, but I've never done it like this and I don't feel like experimenting.

The offset problem might be fixed by just applying the location on the mount armature. If not then move your mesh + armatures to the world center.

You could try applying the rotation on your armatures. I think that might mess up something.

You have a bunch of inverted normals.
