Last I checked, null.png is what torque constructor uses to define what is invisible and what isn't
Constructor maybe but when Blockland's game engine doesn't find a texture for an interior it uses the first texture it can find, which is an asphalt texture.

Blender 2.49b .map exporter (couldn't find a link)
It's part of 2.49, not a plug-in.

You could have exported the cylinder as is without needing to convert the end faces to triangles and a square. The pink color does not cause the interior to be invisible in game, it gives the interior a black asphalt type texture.

You are loving kidding me right? The god damn bed alone has more than 50 convex shapes. It would take days of work to slice the whole Bedroom to convex shapes.
The whole purpose is to get someone to make a working version, post the .map for other map creators to dig in and add the rooms and other stuff they've always wanted to see in bedroom
But why a .map? Besides people can already dig and add other rooms..

Why would you want a .map? It's meant to be used in Blender.

i have tried numerous methods to get these recognized by blender, quark, or hammer and none seem to work. i think it's because the .dae is just one object which registers as concave. i would love to use these for scaling purposes for future map design but i do not think it will ever be used. Whoever exported these as a .dae, i believe the new torque supports .dae as interior files? can you try importing them again after converting them?
I imported the .dae file with Blender 2.5 just fine. Do you have the correct Python? You will never get these to constructor though, one would be insane to go through the entire model and split it into convex objects.

it is better optimized the way badspot does it, except i don't know HOW he does it. is there a way to reverse face direction in constructor or hammer?

demian what is with the spiral of carpet on the floor? is it an illusion or an error?
A rather odd error. The texture is repeated a lot, I'll fix it in time.

Imagine any recent music video a female pop star. She is half naked wearing only a bikini, splashing herself with water in a tub with several closeups of her body. She is surrounded by several other equally naked and attractive women in a small closed space.

Now instead of the lovey woman imagine the singer as an extremely homoloveual looking man with a heavy artificial tan, white goatee, no eyebrows and pink short mohawk type hair and he is surrounded by spartans wearing only towels. Oh and the singer has a high pitched voice
