stargate its not a bug people are just using the events wrong. you need to make your requestfunds legal sales as well if you want it to work properly. or just use sellitem, which is newer and combines requestfunds and additem into one.

update: i have done updates to vehicles, they should take damage when hitting bricks at high speeds. real estate should fully transfer lots you buy to you.

I have done an update of many things: labor board fix, changed the way ore works (once its mined its gone forever, and a WIP lava brick makes new ore bricks), finalized meth lab brick, at least partially fixed real estate, added pills again.

thanks for the new suggestions, i will work on some of them. The mod shouldn't charge you for priced bricks that you can't make because of buried/stuck/floating and police get a reward again, but it comes out of the criminal's bank. Personal vaults are not affected by jailing. I added code on to make every brick in a person's build owned by the owner of the lot when loaded. This should fix ownership problems. The server is now running again

Okay, internet is working again. Later tonight I will restart the server, after working on a couple things. Sorry for the long wait alls. Also, I haven't worked on the mod much in the break time. I will be re-adding police rewards and making sure it doesnt charge for lots when they can't be placed before i reopen the server.

Yes, the mod is making progress, we will be done beta mode pretty soon. I might want to reset all the client data now that I think I fixed the saving issues. Also, I found the issue that was restricting events to admins.

Thanks for the bug reports. The previous version of the mod was not designed for the current version of blockland, so a lot of things were broken to start with. I decided to change the mod from how it was before because it was a huge mess of too many jobs. However that doesn't mean that jobs will suck in this version compared to older ones, they just aren't done yet.

I like M's ideas about security cams and vehicles, especially vehicles. Like he said, doing a search for security cams isn't the fastest thing, so having it occur for multiple felons for tracking purposes could lead to issues. Overall, I will come back to these suggestions after I finish the drug system. I have posted the list of bugs you have reported on the first post here.

The admin only events seem to be controlled from outside the mod and add-ons, I can't figure this one out yet, possibly the game engine is limiting it because it thinks it could be used for spam... This might take some looking into but it worked in much earlier versions of Blockland

As for Bugs:
  • When I baton a door, I get dems and the doors don't open.
  • When you type /training the list comes up twice.
  • A few seconds after cutting down a tree, it seems to respawn and immediately fakekillbrick, then respawn again a few sec later.
  • Rocket Ammo is broken. Bought 10 ammo, now I have unlimited shots.

And two more things.
  • Why does firefighting require a clean record?
  • People in-game are complaining about random account resets while they are offline
  • I will have to change the baton's code to work with new door codes.
  • no idea why training displays the list twice, but is low-priority for now.
  • I will have to test why it does this, I was trying to double the max length of time a brick stays fakekillbrick'd.
  • easy fix.

  • Because they spawn with a fireaxe which can open doors near a fire, if a criminal starts a fire, they could use the fireaxe to break in
  • probably fixed

thank you everyone for your replies. I have been busy for the last couple days and have had no time to develop the mod. The most troubling thing is the accounts being lost. I have tried several workarounds to this but I still can't find a solution. I will continue working on this. As for the other bugs, they are minor and should be resolved quickly.

Edit: I have found the probable solution to why players were losing their data. It occurred when players left the server before spawning. I will have it patched by tomorrow, until then, don't leave before loading. Also patched: doctor heal, training EXP glitch

still no idea on why /help training displays the list twice, but oh well

Okay, just to keep everything organized I am making this thread for reporting bugs in the Metropolis RPG Beta server. I will do my best to fix the bugs asap, and some things that seem like bugs are actually intended, because this RP isn't like any other RP's. Thanks, everyone. The current buglist:

-When I baton a door, I get dems and the doors don't open.
-A few seconds after cutting down a tree, it seems to respawn and immediately fakekillbrick, then respawn again a few sec later.
- Can spawn vehicles for free
-Axe cuts faster than chainsaw.
-Players bricks are not part of the minigame when they are offline.
-Assault and Grand Theft Auto don't rack up dems.
-Fire needs to be fixed and enabled.
- Can't buy an axe from the labor terminal
- BuyResources doesn't work
- Can sell ammo to people but can't buy it from yourself
- Can't spawn items through the wrench GUI (used to work properly)

-vce doesnt work
