Help / Mysterious repetetive fetching underground

It seems that I get fetched underground at random times.
I don't know how this happens or why this happens. I will confirm this in single player and see if it too does that, as this is on my server, but it was happening when only 1 other guy was there, and I know they weren't causing it.

I know I saved the brick ownership and I loaded it too but it still loads owned by me. What's wrong?

Help / Howto: Host a dedicated server on Linux

I'm sure some of you Linux pros already know how to do this, but I wanted to help the Linux newbies too.

First, you must open a terminal. Usually, most Linux users already know how to do this, but depending on your desktop environment, you'll find it in different places. For GNOME, it will be under Applications with the name "Terminal". Just browse through the menus until you find it.
For KDE4, just search for konsole in your search box on the K menu.
For KDE3, it should be under K menu > System with the name "Terminal" or "Konsole" or similar.

Okay, assuming you have a terminal window open, type this: "cd ~/.wine/drive_c/Program\ Files/Blockland", without quotes, and press enter.
Now, type this without quotes: "wine blockland -dedicated"
Assuming you have already port-forwarded, you will now be hosting a dedicated server! Good luck!

Would it? I mean, would it even bring me into Slate with no lag or anything at half-decent quality settings? What about Bedroom? And, what about an estimated brick level before lag gets a little off-hand?

Note: I have a computer with nothing but 3 PCI slots, so I can't get an AGP or PCI-express card.
What kind of PCI video card would work in Blockland?

I hate how bad Blockland is with Wine. I find this funny, what is the roadblock with a Blockland for Linux? Mac is from Unix, and so is Linux, in fact Torque can be compiled on Linux. It wouldn't be too hard for a Linux version if there is already a Mac version.

Help / ATI Radeon 9800 Pro Problems...

I'm having some annoying problems with my new ATI Radeon 9800 Pro.
I also have a ATI Radeon 9200SE and it works perfectly for Blockland.

Here are some pics:




I already tried flushtexturecache(); but it dosen't help, but it does help when it flips out and you see crazy rainbow polygons all over.
