Go into the minigame menu for your minigame, click advanced, and click on "Enable Ammo" to make the checkmark go away.

Be careful because (at least for me) there is a bug in the VCE addon that causes Blockland to hang when the game is launched.
It even happens on a clean Blockland install with the VCE addon and nothing else.
