looks very slightly like my parents' first place

small. quaint. complete, with unnervingly-small bathroom.

thank you for your service

the whole thing will be beached long before the wheels reach the top of the arches but that's okay because you can't always get what you want

what really peeves me is the fact that the bricks i used for tires fit perfectly on the arch but it overlaps anyway which is super gay
I stand with you in solidarity

I would resent window wipers in a world where the rain goes through everything, so it's not something I would implement, but I could help you with it

speedo/tacho are probably something we could reasonably do, but I'd have to go about it in a way I've never done before. The number of objects on the Crown Vic is what turns it into crash-inducing garbage.

I've got steering wheels down pat, though. I could make a tutorial if enough people were interested

Lately I've been responding poorly to life, and I might be too busy pitying myself, but I would be willing to help with these things in greater detail on a day that isn't today.

if you have the threads for it, using animations is better than hiding/unhiding nodes

hand over hand animations look dumb. consider how fast the animation moves when using mouse steering. it'll look absolutely frantic

Erm, I have a problem with the Emperor '80. Whenever I select a color for the interior or any other part, it just colors the entire car the color I selected for that part.
Yup. I've seen this in someone's server.

Notably, it was the only car of mine they had. Try enabling other recent cars of mine alongside it (like Vanhammer). There might be a script that the Emperor needs that others have, and I might have never tested the Emperor by itself.

If that doesn't change anything, I'd have some testing to do.

Love me :cookie:

Any new vehicles coming up yet?
I wish I could give you better news, but the only thing I have hidden from you is an updated version of the Shark '70.

Is this an issue some newer version of the Shark has, or a problem with the existing one?
It became a problem with an edited version I was working on.

It's also a problem with a number of existing cars, including at least one of Filipe's, and Crown Vic 2016.

It seems to happen at random (more cars makes it more likely) when they're spawned if they have too many objects.
and I do mean objects (like parts that can be hidden/unhidden, such as headlights and CVS parts), not faces (as in polygons).

emmmm I don't understand how to use the /veh
Type /veh. There should be some text that explains it. (if there's no text at all, something's gone wrong.)

Almost all of my vehicles let you select factory colors.
Generally speaking (they're not all the same), typing "/veh c" will show you the list of factory colors.
Typing /veh followed by a number, like "/veh 1" will apply the first in that list.
Sometimes (like on the Crown Vic) it might use something other than a number, so type what the list tells you to (like "/veh A")

The earlier the vehicle is, the less helpful the text might be, but it should always tell you what to do if you read carefully.

You have to type /veh before everything.
You're not advancing through menus; all commands can be done without ever reading any text; the text is just a guide to let you know what you could type at any given time.

If you still don't get it, or if it seems broken, let me know what you're seeing.

can someone explain to me why when I press the shift brick keys nothing happens
Does any other add-on you use do anything to those keys? If not, I'm not sure what to tell you.

please don't start bumping it every two days

My car is broken.

If you spawn too many of them, they slide in from off-screen and have no wheels.
Sometimes one of them appears to drive in reverse of its own accord. But, of course, it hasn't actually moved.
Then sometimes, obviously, you get an invalid packet.

this is with the model itself in the simplest possible version of its datablock
in terms of complexity, it's the jeep but with a different model and wheels
on a clean install of blockland where the car is the only non-default add-on

i broke my car

teneksi i just want you to know that i hate pronouncing your name
Sorry.
10 X C?

is this a chart of all the factory colours for the vette or something
It is

it's a condensed version of the factory colors and the corresponding recommended interior colors from 68 to 76

because apparently when I decided to go from naming things like "crown vic" to naming them things like "emperor" and "shark," I vastly underestimated how much I could enjoy matching up tiny details that most people wouldn't notice

it helps that there's a vast amount of pictures and information about corvettes on the internet

I just want to say that I read my own words 5 days later and I'm a complete ass

however I do fully encourage you to try to figure out how to edit models or make them yourself
if you have any interest in that, I'd say that looking at and attempting to tweak models this complex may make it seem unapproachable

here's this: https://i.imgur.com/E42hJ7I.jpg

and if you use port's exporter, you can also import .dts files. consider looking at some straightforward, neat vehicles (barnabas probably) and see how they come together

I should've listened to Regular Car Reviews:

y so serious
because I'm proud and egotistical and if I see this imported disco ball on a server that doesn't also have the truck I made I will light myself on fire

but there's definitely such a thing as taking yourself too seriously and I have once again bounded enthusiastically over that line but put that thing back where it came from or so help me

This is more than "a bit" out of place. The only redeeming part of forcing a model from one game to another is if it looks halfway decent. I hope this is a joke.

I'd take a more neutral stance if you modeled something hideous yourself, but it sounds like you don't even know how to scale.

Is it possible to make an update to an add-on that changes its filename?
