sure the kids don't really have a say, but they can't have a say since they're so young and they don't know enough about different opinions to form their own.

on whether incest is harmful, I'm siding with Bisjac.

incest children dont come out "handicapped" or "missing fingers"

they will carry common family genetic disorders that are strong to them both specifically, 100% to the child.
if they both have the weak gene that goes through the family, say; both are alergic to cats. then the child will be born allergic to cats. and that gene isnt bred out of the family line yet.

it wont just create new issues. incest babies carry bad genes guaranteed. however every one of us here carry bad genes already, its normal. and our kids with a non relative mate will be a gamble bred in or out.

you're comparing cannibalism to love.

saying that being raised that way does not alone make it right.

doesn't mean that certain individuals aren't entitled to their own opinions and choices

I don't have a strong opinion whether incest itself is right or not (although it is highly taboo and often illegal). All I'm saying is that it isn't right based solely on the fact that they believe it's right, or that they were raised that way. Terrorists think they're doing the right thing. I'm not comparing incest to terrorism, I'm saying that being raised that way does not alone make it right.

humanity in general has been against incest for thousands of years


just because they enjoy it and think it's normal, even if it's a "victimless crime", doesn't mean it's necessarily the right thing to do.


humanity is no longer at a point where we have to forget our siblings to keep the species alive, and the great majority of it thinks it's wrong.
