Yesterday, while trying to look through history, the page kept reloading after I opened a link in another tab, and closed it to go back and keep searching. While I was playing a game in one window and uploading to Youtube in chrome, it flashed on the task bar. When I clicked on it, it was on the Youtube page asking if I was sure I wanted to leave the page. Later, I was randomly logged out of Gmail, which I always leave open, and which has never done this before except for if I ever log out of Youtube or something like that. Just a minute ago I heard the system sound "Asterisk" out of nowhere and with no message of any kind.
Now I'm concerned I have some kind of dumb virus that likes to mess with you while doing whatever else. I decided to run a scan with Avira and it says it has 2 "Detections" and 4 "Hidden objects" but apparently won't let me look at what it found until it's finished.
What do?

It's ambient sounds and things which are supposed to stimulate your brain in a way which feels similar to being high. I tried it once and it had no particular effect, it just made me get a headache from listening to dissonance. It's mostly a placebo effect. People want to have it make them feel that way, so they do.
