General Discussion / Are the Online Servers are Getting Worse?

These servers are more sucky then when they sucked a few months ago.. Like lets have a look at some names and if they're any good.

BL SERVER: *(In Brackets is what i feel of these servers)*

i am cman (WTF?!, terrible joke)
Mining   (Ok fair enough)
More Mining  (I'm getting tired of these)
Just Another Mine  (Your starting to aggravate me!)
Guess what?! Mining! (Close to committing Self Delete)
Core RP (Tired after minutes of playing)
Quality Town V2 (not bad, but once something is built, TIRED)
Noah Server (Whats the point..?)
Family RP (I'd give this the silver sucky award, BORING!)
ZOMBIE WAR (Zombies do get boring after awhile)
Freebuild (Fair enough, since we do build but still there are too many bad quality build servers.)
City Projects (Im giving this the bronze sucky award, as 90% of these turn to SH**)
City RPG OR RP  (These servers deserve the gold sucky award, as they are SOO boring after 30 minutes)


They are just for starters, is Blockland running out of ideas for servers? Like they repeat over and over and over and over again.
Whats the cause of this?:

Lack of creativity?
Lack of Options?
Lack of Physics?
Lack of Bricks that can be used?

The bottom line is that for all the new guys if you are making a server, PLEASE atleast think of something new besides the above as there are way tooo many of them.

Help / Microsoft Runtime Error

Hello all im getting the Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error, on a few servers.. What would the reason be? Addons or whatnot?
My Computer specs are fine.

Ok since those new Corner Walls with the Corner plates just came out, the 4x4 corner full.

I am in urgent need of a ramp that will cover this corner, could someone make one please? As i'm in a building competition and need this corner lol..

General Discussion / Biggest Project Of Blockland [ANZ Stadium]

I am excited to say that i am going to build ANZ Stadium, Australia's largest stadium for sports.

here are a few pics:




As you can see in the link it use to be called telstra stadium but now its ANZ Stadium.

This project will TAKE A LONG TIME, and if your up to the challenge of building an exact replica of this stadium just pm me or reply.

This project is for a new style in blockland, such as Footy, soccer, union or league to have some fun.
I reckon someone will make the mod for it once they get a glimpse of what its like when its finished.

So say your words and believe me, im up to the challenge.

Suggestions & Requests / Volume Meter for MUSIC

This has been said 1 year ago and it just died but we need a volume meter for music to stop the 'Too Loud' message from appeaing, the volume meter could also decrease/Increase the volume radius on which to stop music from overlapping.
The volume meter could be used just like the Players Scale meter in the events..  but on a click of a brick it will make the music go to that volume from the volume meter that has been selected on eventing.

I added an image to show you an example.

I think there should be an option to make it so when you have a bright light on in a house for example it doesnt BEAM right out through the walls.. Is there a way to fix this or if not can this please be fixed!

General Discussion / Categories of games we have in blockland Online.

I am starting to find Blockland online a bit boring and dull as 9/10th's of the games are RP, RPG's and freebuilds =.=
There has to be something more exciting then just the 3 above.. I know free builds is what blockland is all about, but ...ZzzzzZzz after a while.

So the poll is: Are you happy with what categories of games we have in blockland; eg, RP, RPG and Freebuild

Help / Blockland cannot detect My Graphics Driver

Okay it wont detect the graphics driver also OpenGL..
Yes yes yes i have the most up-to-date graphics driver for my Geforce 9800GTX+
I recently updated to windows 7 and haven't played this since, all other games work but this..

Any ideas??

I think we should get someone to make a decent elevator not the ones where you click a button and it just transforms the player but 1 where the elevator actually moves smoothly.

Help / Saved Game Corrupt?!

Well the other night i saved my game happily then when i go to the 'load bricks option' and clicked on the saved file the whole blockland freezes and crashes which means its corrupted somehow.. other saves work, theres got to be a way to get this save as its  really good and not worth starting from scratch..

Help / blockland Crashes my Graphics Driver Randomly

Hmm this has happend to me and a friend what it does it it just crashes causing a graphic driver to fail i think its NVLDDMKM.sys and successfully recovers once it hits the desktop, my drivers are fully uptodate.. I have a 9800GTX+ so that definately not an issue. ANd it only happens in Blockland sometimes like once a day or maybe 3 or 4 if im really unlucky..

So does this happen to anyone else or am i just out of luck...

Ok, this is really grinding my gears knowing i cant have an online game with 2 people (including me) on LAN at my house having to have the same name on blockland.. Everytime we try 2 different names it says authentication failed after a few minutes.. We have to have one caps and one uncaps'd to notice the different of the name..
People leave my server thinking its a joke of some kind and this is really annoying..

BL Admins is there anyway i can fix this BESIDES buying another key, which i would find ridiculous..

And dont say go through search as ive tried...
That duplicator in general discussion wont work for me as it doesnt show up in the Addons, i did put the ZIP file in but it didn't show.

Help / Dedicated Server Help!

Ok so to use RTB for dedicated server it says to type in the following command.

setupRTBDedicated<"YourUsername",1>;

I done that while it says put my BL_ID where it says usernname and still does nothing.. The command just doesnt work for me

Ok so what am i going to do in this situation i have 2 computers and if i make a decent world/map etc.. how am i going to play them on each computer without the hassle of copying the Save file over everytime?
