Wtf does distant forest do, i dont see any crates, nothing spawns there that i know of, i cant find anything in the trees, wtf is it there for? I heard rumors that treasure chests spawn there but i havent seen any.

Here you go, wip photos, the first few were small so i saved after i was done with them, so there is no wip of the small ones, i used the backup save thingymajig so i could reload everytime i saved, resulting in a step by step of the pixel art, i didnt upload all of them because that would take a while, so heres some proof:
